It works directly in your browser without analytics, advertising, accounts, or a developer-operated server. WHAT X-ZEN DOES • Removes promoted posts, the right sidebar, Grok controls, the Chat drawer, and most left navigation. • Centers the feed and lets you choose its width. • Prevents accidental feed churn with a five-second refresh cooldown. • Adds clear Home and refresh controls. • Adds a local clock and a persistent 15, 30, or 45-minute Pomodoro timer. • Adds optional local weather with an approximate city label. • Adds an optional hourly singing-bowl sound. • Creates a compact post outline for faster feed navigation. • Uses visible article titles to make article posts easier to identify. • Hides x-zen controls automatically when you view photos or videos. BUILT FOR FOCUS x-zen keeps the useful parts of X.com visible while reducing noise around the feed. It is designed for people who want to read, follow conversations, and manage their time without fighting the interface. PRIVACY FIRST • X.com content is processed only in your browser. It is not stored or transmitted. • Weather is disabled until you choose to enable it. • For weather, coordinates are rounded before they are sent to Open-Meteo for the forecast and BigDataCloud for an approximate city name. • Coordinates are never stored by x-zen. • The hourly sound is disabled by default and uses a bundled audio file. • x-zen has no analytics, advertising, user accounts, or developer-operated server. x-zen is an independent extension and is not affiliated with X Corp., Open-Meteo, or BigDataCloud.
