Description

Send YouTube videos to friends, and see what they sent you, right inside YouTube. Iris for YouTube lets you send YouTube videos to your friends without leaving YouTube. SEND • Click the Send button under any video, or right-click a video link, and pick your friends. • Add a short note (up to 140 characters) and an optional start time. RECEIVE • Iris adds its own entry to YouTube's sidebar. A dot appears there when something new arrives. • The Iris page has three tabs: Inbox, Sent and Friends. • Recent videos from friends also show up in a "From friends" row at the top of YouTube's home page. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No read receipts. Your friends never find out whether you watched what they sent. • People can only find you by typing your exact handle. • Delete your account at any time from the Iris menu. Everything is removed immediately. GETTING STARTED Sign in with Google, pick a handle, and send a friend request. Iris needs nothing beyond your Google name, email and profile picture. Iris is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
