Analyze Zillow/Redfin homes with MyHomeScout, or save them to compare and sync to Favorites. MyHomeScout helps you collect homes while browsing Zillow or Redfin, then compare them or save them to your MyHomeScout Favorites when you’re ready. What you can do • See a floating panel on Zillow and Redfin listing and search pages • Sign in to analyze a home’s location (score + key findings) without leaving the listing • Add homes to a saved list in your browser (up to 40) • Pick 2–4 saved homes and open MyHomeScout Compare • Sync your saved list to account Favorites (opens myhomescout.com; you sign in there) • Manage the list from the toolbar popup (remove, clear, rescan) Privacy • Saved homes stay in this browser until you click Compare or Sync • After you sign in via myhomescout.com/extension-auth, a short-lived session token is stored locally so the extension can call MyHomeScout analysis APIs • Compare and Sync open myhomescout.com with the selected addresses in the URL/hash so the web app can load them • Full policy: https://myhomescout.com/privacy Permissions • Access to zillow.com and redfin.com — to read listing addresses on the page • Access to api.myhomescout.com / myhomescout.com — signed-in analysis and auth handoff • Storage — to keep your saved list and signed-in session locally • Active tab / scripting — so the toolbar popup can scan the current page
