Full-page screenshot capture with annotation, PDF export, and zero network requests. WebScreen captures full web pages the way GoFullPage and FireShot do, then lets you mark them up, blur private data, and export clean PDFs — all without ever contacting a server. Everything happens locally in your browser. ── What it does ────────────────────────────── • Full-page scrolling capture, stitched into a single image. Sticky headers are captured once, not repeated down the page. • Inner-scroll panel capture (Alt+Shift+S): pick any scrollable div, chat log, modal, or embedded reader and WebScreen scrolls that panel internally and stitches only its content. • Smart annotation editor: Rectangle, Arrow, Text, Blur, and Pixelate tools, each with their own color and stroke width. Full undo / redo across every operation including moves and edits. • Crop with corner handles and Apply / Cancel confirmation — not a destructive one-click crop. • Text that moves and edits: drag any text to reposition it, click to re-edit the string, undo rolls back cleanly. • PDF export in A4, Letter, or Legal with smart page breaks (cuts land on low-variance rows so paragraphs aren't sliced through the middle of a line). • Clickable links in the PDF — anchor tags from the captured page remain hyperlinks in the exported document. • Long pages split into N numbered PNG parts, each with a header strip showing "Part i / N — URL — date". • URL and capture timestamp baked into every image. ── Why zero network matters ────────────────── WebScreen requests the minimum Chrome permissions needed: activeTab, scripting, storage. No host permissions, no CDN fetches, no analytics, no sign-in. If you capture a page with private information, that information never leaves your computer. ── Keyboard shortcuts ──────────────────────── • Alt+S — capture the full page • Alt+Shift+S — pick an inner scroll panel • R / A / T / B / P / C — pick a tool (Rect / Arrow / Text / Blur / Pixelate / Crop) • Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z — undo / redo • Ctrl+S — save PNG • Ctrl+Shift+S — save PDF • Enter / Esc on a pending crop — Apply / Cancel ── Project home ────────────────────────────── https://pexyn.com/webscreen (MIT license). ── Support ─────────────────────────────────── WebScreen is free. If you want to support the project, a PayPal donation link is on the extension's options page.
