Apply a bounded slowed-and-reverb effect to audio in the active tab. Slowed Reverb adds simple slowed + reverb controls to audio and video playing in your current browser tab. Use Slowed Reverb when you want to give music, videos, or other supported HTML5 media a slower, more spacious sound without downloading the media or uploading it to another service. The extension works directly from a compact popup. Open it on a supported page, turn the effect on, adjust the slowdown and reverb levels, and apply the settings to media in the active tab. What you can do • Slow down audio and video playback. • Add an adjustable reverb effect. • Combine slowed playback and reverb in one simple control panel. • Change the effect settings while using the active tab. • Turn the effect off and restore normal playback. • Use the extension without creating an account. Local processing Slowed Reverb processes the effect locally in your browser. There is no backend service, cloud processing, analytics, or media upload. The extension does not collect, store, or transmit personal information, browsing history, website content, URLs, or media. It uses temporary access to the active tab only when you invoke the extension. Simple browser controls Slowed Reverb is designed around one focused purpose: applying a local slowed reverb effect to supported media in the active tab. The popup provides controls for playback speed, reverb level, and the current effect state without adding unrelated features. Compatibility The current version is intended for standard HTML5 audio and video that is already present on the page and has been started by the user. Some content may not be supported, including: • DRM or other protected media • Chrome internal pages • Pages without standard HTML5 audio or video elements • Some site-specific or custom media players Slowed Reverb does not claim universal compatibility with every website or media player. Privacy No account is required. Slowed Reverb has no backend, analytics, advertising, or remote code. Processing stays local to the active browser tab.
