Extra hex colors and title rules for Google Calendar. Local palette, no account. HexCal adds a reusable hex palette to Google Calendar so you are not stuck with the built-in dots. Right-click an event to see HexCal colors under Google's picker. Click one to paint that event. Use + Add color to save a new hex. In the HexCal popup you can also set title rules, for example anything containing "Gym" always gets the same color. Colors are stored in your browser. HexCal does not create an account and does not send calendar data anywhere. HexCal paints events on calendar.google.com in Chrome. It does not write colors through the Google Calendar API, so custom HexCal colors will not appear in the Google Calendar mobile apps. How to use it 1. Open Google Calendar in Chrome. 2. Right-click an event. 3. Pick a HexCal color, or click + Add color and enter a hex code. 4. Optional: open the HexCal icon in the toolbar to manage your palette and title rules. Privacy Palette, title rules, and which events you recolored stay in chrome.storage on this device. No analytics, no account, no servers.
