Drowzy is a lightweight Chrome tab suspender and memory saver that puts unused tabs to sleep, so Chrome stays faster when you keep a lot of tabs open. Unlike older tab suspenders, Drowzy uses Chrome's built-in system for freeing tabs from memory. Your tabs are not replaced with custom suspended pages or chrome-extension:// URLs. They stay as normal Chrome tabs, and if you uninstall Drowzy, your tabs are still there. ▸ HOW IT WORKS • Tabs you haven't touched for 15 minutes go to sleep automatically by default.
