Description
Answers the video before the video wastes your time. See summaries on hover, skip the fluff. Read the answer before you press play. YouTLDR adds anti-clickbait summaries directly to YouTube. On a watch page, it reads the transcript, puts the useful answer first, and tells you whether the rest is worth watching. When a video has already been summarized, a green staircase appears on its thumbnail. Hover over it to see the answer before opening the video. WHAT YOU GET • The useful answer at the top of the YouTube watch page • Hover previews on videos already in the shared summary map • Honest verdicts: watch, skim, or skip • Important details without the intros, repetition, and padding • A conservative estimate of how much video time was summarized for you FREE EVERY DAY • 3 full summaries • 10 cached thumbnail previews • No card required Pro makes summaries and previews unlimited. Subscribe during launch to lock in $1.99/month while your subscription remains active, or choose the yearly plan. Cancel any time. No login is required to try the core extension. Videos need usable captions or an existing cached summary. YouTLDR does not block videos or modify playback; it adds a summary layer so you can decide what deserves your time.
