Checks whether a Google Form is likely a scam before you fill it in. Google Forms Scam Analyzer checks whether a Google Form you've been sent is likely a scam before you enter any personal information. WHAT IT CHECKS - Wording - urgency tactics, too-good-to-be-true offers, requests for sensitive information (bank details, SSNs), impersonal mass-mail language - Link reputation - the form's own link and any embedded links inside it, checked against Google Safe Browsing and VirusTotal - Domain history - whether a linked domain has any prior scan history - Named entities - any people or organizations mentioned are searched for existing scam/fraud reports, with the exact supporting evidence shown if something's flagged HOW IT WORKS Click the extension icon while viewing a Google Form, hit "Scan this form," and get a verdict - Scam, Legit, or Uncertain - with a confidence score and the specific reasons behind it, plus a full breakdown of every check performed. YOUR OWN API KEYS This extension is bring-your-own-key. Add a free Gemini or Groq API key in settings (required) and optionally free keys for Safe Browsing, VirusTotal, urlscan.io, and Tavily (all optional, no card needed for any of them). Your keys are stored only on your device and sent only to the analysis server as part of each scan request - never stored on any server, never shared. LIMITATIONS This is a heuristic tool - pattern-matching on wording and reputation lookups, not a trained classifier validated against a labeled scam dataset. It catches common, recognizable scam patterns; it won't catch everything, especially very new scams with no reputation history yet. Treat the verdict as a strong signal to look closer, not a guarantee. Source code is public on GitHub.
