See active social-media time across browser windows, set daily limits, and receive evidence-aware pause prompts. TimeBloom turns social-media time into a clear, private picture you can act on. It recognizes major social and community services, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Reddit. Additional built-in services can be enabled or disabled, and any missing social domain can be added by the user. Understand your pattern • See daily, hourly, and platform-level usage charts. • Compare the latest seven or thirty days. • Review platform entries and long continuous sessions. • See arithmetic monthly and yearly time equivalents. • View a transparent Focus Pressure heuristic without pretending to measure your brain. Track across Chrome windows • Count the foreground social tab. • Optionally continue counting audible media playing in another Chrome window. • Optionally count an active social tab visible in another non-minimized Chrome window. • Count only one primary social context at a time to avoid inflating totals. Create a deliberate pause Choose a daily limit such as two or three hours. TimeBloom can show a focused warning window and a system notification when the limit is reached. If usage reaches twice the chosen limit, a stronger second prompt appears. Warnings include a concerned local icon, today's total, the user's limit, a clearly labeled usage heuristic, practical reset actions, and carefully worded research context. TimeBloom does not claim to measure a fixed personal focus-loss percentage. Private by design TimeBloom stores local duration summaries and settings in the user's Chrome profile. It does not read posts, messages, searches, video titles, usernames, form entries, or page text. It does not use an account, analytics, advertising, external servers, or remotely hosted code. TimeBloom is an awareness tool, not a medical, psychological, productivity, or cognitive assessment.
