Human typing simulator: types text letter by letter; strips hidden-character watermarks, works in Google Docs and rich text editors. Human Typer (人类打字模拟器) simulates real human typing on almost any website: it types the text you prepared into the field you pick, one character at a time, at a natural pace. Use it for long-form entry, demo and tutorial recordings, filling in your own forms, and fields that do not allow pasting. Completely free, no limits No paid tier, no in-app purchases, no ads, no account, and no daily word or session caps. The code is open source (MIT) and everything runs locally in your browser. Where it works · Inputs and text areas on almost any website · Rich-text editors, including ones inside iframes, such as Canvas LMS discussion and reply boxes · Google Docs: real keystrokes, character by character, with Chinese sent through the input-method path. Lines that start with "1. ", "- " or "a) " are typed exactly as written instead of turning into auto lists Browser pages (settings, extension stores), password fields and self-drawn editors such as Word for the web are not supported. Natural timing No fixed, robotic interval. The gap between characters drifts in faster and slower bursts, with an extra beat after punctuation. Think-as-you-type goes further: words get a short hand-over, clause, sentence and paragraph breaks get progressively longer pauses, there is the occasional spaced-out break of ten seconds or more, and the pace slows slightly towards the end, the way real typing tires. Mistakes made and fixed like a person (think-as-you-type) · English slips hit a neighbouring key (e for r, s for a); Chinese slips use common look-alike or sound-alike characters (的/地, 在/再) · Some typos are backspaced at once, others are noticed a few characters later and the whole run is retyped · At a word or clause boundary it now and then backspaces a few characters and rewrites them Two rhythms · Fixed rhythm: each character at a random interval between your minimum and maximum, optionally with punctuation pauses, rhythm drift, single-character typo fixes and random thinking pauses. Three presets: careful, everyday and fast. · Think-as-you-type: the text is split by paragraph, sentence and clause and planned as a sequence of steps, with composing pauses, bursts and rewrites built in. Your duration, your settings Every setting is a slider: typing speed, thinking intensity, revision rate, max rewrite length, typo chance, late-notice chance and spacing-out chance. While you drag, each slider shows how often it fires on the current text and how much time it adds, so you see the estimated total before you start. Turn on the duration budget to have the whole text finish in roughly the time you choose (10 seconds to 120 minutes). One-click watermark removal Pasted text can carry invisible character watermarks: zero-width characters, hidden tag characters, variation selectors, direction marks, or Latin letters swapped for look-alike Cyrillic ones. Click "Remove watermarks" to strip and restore them all; the button then turns into "Copy text" so you can copy the clean text. Text is also cleaned automatically before typing: what you see is exactly what gets typed, with nothing hidden added. Progress and time left The bar under the buttons shows the completed percentage and the time left, to two decimals. Think-as-you-type uses the real waits from its plan, so the reading keeps moving during a composing pause. Stop any time, pick up where you left off Press any key or click the page and typing stops at once, so nothing lands where you did not mean it to. Next time you press Start, the text already in the field is detected and the run continues from that point. In Google Docs the progress is recorded in the background, so closing the side panel does not lose it. Stays out of the page The control panel lives in the browser side panel, stays open while you click around, and puts no buttons or overlays on the page. Privacy Everything runs locally. No network requests, no uploaded text, no page-wide reading, no analytics or ads. Language A highlighted 中文 | EN switch in the top-right corner changes the language in one click, and the choice is remembered. Chinese browsers start in Chinese; every other language starts in English. Note On ordinary pages, input is delivered through browser input events; in Google Docs, keystrokes go through the debugging interface. Neither is a hardware keyboard signal. A page can still alter or reject what it receives; the run stops as soon as the text, caret or target changes.
