Brings the engaged views chart back to YouTube Studio analytics, styled like YouTube's own chart. On August 24, 2026 YouTube changed how views are counted. "Views" now counts from the very first frame, and what used to be a view — someone who stayed past the opening seconds — became a separate metric called "engaged views". That metric still exists, and YouTube Studio still downloads it on the video page itself. It just isn't shown anywhere in the overview: you have to dig into Advanced Mode to see it. This extension puts it back where it belongs — a card right below the main analytics chart, styled like YouTube's own. WHAT YOU GET • The total engaged views for the selected period, and what percentage that is of your regular view count. That gap is the distance between reach and actual attention. • The daily series, drawn with the same blue line as Studio's own chart, with a tooltip on hover. • A filter to show both series or engaged views only. • Its own range selector — Studio, 48 h, 7 days, 28 days, 90 days, 1 year — so you can change the period without touching Studio's date picker, which reloads the whole screen. "Studio" follows whatever period is selected on the page. The 48-hour range is drawn hour by hour. • Light and dark theme support. Both of your choices are remembered between sessions. It appears on the Overview tab of video analytics and of channel analytics, and works on any channel your account can reach — including ones where you are an editor rather than the owner. NO ACCOUNT, NO SETUP No sign-up, no OAuth, no API key, no quota. It uses the YouTube session you already have open in the browser. Install it and the card is there. PRIVACY No servers, no analytics, no telemetry. The extension runs only on studio.youtube.com, asks YouTube for your own numbers from your own browser, and draws them. Nothing is sent to the author or to any third party. The only thing stored is which filter and which range you picked. Full policy: https://jhonavega2.github.io/privacy/engaged-views/ NOTES The figures are the same ones you would see under Analytics > Advanced Mode with the "Engaged views" metric selected. Nothing is estimated or extrapolated. If YouTube changes something internally and the data stops arriving, the card says so instead of making numbers up. This is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by YouTube or Google LLC.
rating_count is the Chrome Web Store ratings count, not a written-review count.
