Drag a tab into the panel, close it, find it again. Waypoint is a link keeper for people with too many open tabs. Drag a tab into the side panel and close it. Drop it on a group and it is filed there; drop it anywhere else and it waits in the Inbox. There is no dialog. FIND IT AGAIN BY WHERE YOU WORK • Groups are your companies, projects and areas of life, and they nest (Acme › Billing). • Inside a group, links are bundled by what they are: repository, CI, docs. • Topics like AI or Design cut across everything. Search with words and #topics. • Groups sort by when you last worked in them. THE PAGE YOU ARE ON SHOWS ITS GROUP Open a page and the panel brings its group into view: by an exact match, by your own URL rules, or by links you saved nearby. MORE WAYS TO SAVE • ⌥⇧S saves the current tab. • Right-click › Save to Waypoint, on a page or a link, straight into a group. • Optionally closes the tab after saving. YOUR LINKS STAY ON YOUR MAC The extension works together with the free Waypoint app for macOS, a small menu-bar app that keeps your links in a database on your Mac. No account, no cloud, works offline. The extension talks only to that app on your own computer. One app serves every browser you use, so your links are the same everywhere. FOR AI AGENTS The app has an MCP server built in, so Claude Code, Codex and other agents can sort your Inbox and tag links — and you can undo an agent's whole session in one click. Requires a Mac with Apple silicon, macOS 13 or newer, and the Waypoint app: https://vizis.cz/waypoint
