Find and export sold-out Shopify product URLs from public storefront collections. # Shopify SoldOut URL Miner A lightweight, high-performance Manifest V3 Google Chrome Extension designed for SEOs, e-commerce managers, store owners, and digital agencies to quickly scan public Shopify storefront collections, audit product variants, and export sold-out or out-of-stock product URLs for search engine optimization and site auditing. ## What It Does This extension behaves as a simple one-click browser utility. It connects to the public JSON endpoints of a Shopify storefront to paginate through and evaluate every product variant in a given collection. If a product has variants but **no variants are available** (i.e. every variant's `available` field is false), the extension registers it as sold-out and tracks details like product name, handle, variant counts, and its URL. ## Who It Is For * **SEO Professionals:** Discover dead or out-of-stock collection nodes that might be wasting crawl budget or causing bad user experiences. * **Shopify Store Owners:** Audit inventory status across large public collections. * **E-Commerce Managers:** Generate reports on out-of-stock links to coordinate redirects, internal link removals, or restocking. * **Marketing Agencies:** Easily run checkups on clients' Shopify store collections without needing access to private Shopify admin panels. ## How It Works 1. When you click **Check SoldOut URLs**, the extension injects `scanner.js` into the active browser tab. 2. The scanner targets the public endpoint: `/collections/{collectionHandle}/products.json?limit={pageSize}&page={page}`. 3. It recursively fetches products and parses each product's `variants` array. 4. If a product has no available variants, it compiles its stats. 5. Real-time scanning progress (total scanned, sold-out found) is reported back to the popup log console. 6. The scan finishes when the store returns no products or a partial page (less than the requested page size). 7. Results are presented inside the popup, allowing immediate CSV downloads and URL clipboard copies.
