A WebTV-style channel guide for your tabs. Big picture previews, arrow keys, Enter. Punch in a channel number to jump. Remember flipping through channels with a remote? TabTV does that for your browser tabs. Press Cmd+Shift+Space (Ctrl+Shift+Space on Windows and Linux) and the whole window turns into a grid of big screenshots, one per tab, with a glowing cursor you steer with the arrow keys. Press Enter to switch. Press Escape to go back. Type a few letters to find a tab. Punch in a channel number to jump straight to it, just like a TV. WHAT YOU GET - Real screenshots of every tab you have looked at, not just titles and favicons - Arrow-key cursor with a proper remote-control feel, plus optional beeps - Channel numbers: type 1 2, pause, and you are on tab 12 - Type-to-find across titles and URLs - Delete closes a tab, Cmd+Z brings it back - Shift+P pops a tab's video into Picture-in-Picture and takes you back to your work - Tab groups show their color and name; tabs open twice get a ×2 badge - ORDER button cycles tab-strip order, most-recent first, and grouped by site - Optional: search what was on screen, so "the tab with the pricing table" is one word away - Four card sizes, from five-across to two-across - Multiple windows appear as separate sections; Enter focuses the right window - Tab count on the toolbar icon HOW PICTURES ARE TAKEN Chrome only lets an extension photograph the tab in front of you, so TabTV takes a picture each time a tab comes forward or finishes loading, and refreshes the front tab every thirty seconds. Tabs you have not visited since installing show a snow screen until you do, or press SCAN to visit each one once. Private (incognito) tabs are never photographed, and you can list sites that must never be photographed in the settings. PRIVACY Everything stays in your browser profile. Page text is never read unless you turn on "search what was on screen" in settings, and then only the words visible when a picture is taken, stored beside it and deleted when you turn the switch off. No accounts, no servers, no analytics. Pictures of closed tabs are kept for seven days so undo and session restore can reuse them, then deleted. A button in settings deletes all of them at once.
