Translate untranslated X posts into your preferred language. Read X posts in your preferred language. X Force Translator checks loaded post text as you scroll and uses OpenAI to translate it when needed. Choose a target language, turn translation on or off, and switch between the original text and the translation. Posts already in your target language are intended to stay unchanged. When the extension recognizes an official X translation in your target language, it uses that translation without making an OpenAI request for the same text. Setup requires your own OpenAI API key and an API account with available usage. OpenAI API charges apply to your account. The extension does not include free API usage. The settings screen is in English; controls shown on posts follow your chosen target language. Post text is sent directly from the extension to OpenAI over HTTPS for language detection and translation. Your API key is stored locally in the extension's IndexedDB and is not shown again after saving. The developer operates no translation server and includes no tracking or analytics. The extension works on x.com and twitter.com in Chrome. It translates post text, not text inside images or videos. It does not filter posts or send feedback to X. X Force Translator is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by X or OpenAI.
