Sync your Steam Community data to SCDB when you choose. Steam Community Database (SCDB) is an independent index of public Steam Community facts. SCDB Companion is how you share your own account with it — from this browser, as you. Some Steam data is only visible to you: your true privacy setting, whether the account is limited, a friends-only friends list. The usual way a site gets that is to ask you for a credential and store it. Companion inverts that. Chrome already holds your Steam session. Companion uses that session, from your address, to fetch your own data and post the result. The Steam web token never leaves this machine. This release reads only your own profile, friends, and groups. It does not fetch reviews, screenshots, Workshop items, inventory, or history as first-class jobs. SCDB is not a Valve product and is not affiliated with Valve Corporation.
