Keep the sites, lose the rabbit holes. Blinders clear the recommendation feeds of YouTube, Reddit, X, and more, while you lock in. Keep the sites. Lose the rabbit holes. Telos Blinders remove the recommendation feeds from YouTube, Reddit, X and more, so the sites stay useful and stop pulling you in. No home grid, no sidebar, no endless shelf of suggestions. Search still works, so you find exactly what you came for, and nothing else. ___ WHY IT MATTERS While you're in the flow, writing, say, an important essay, research shows a single interruption can cost you 23 minutes to regain focus (Gloria Mark, Attention Span). Recommendation feeds are built to be that interruption. Blinders take them out of the page. ___ HOW BLINDERS WORK Press the Blinders button in your toolbar and the feeds stay off by default, no other app needed. Need a breather? Take a 30-minute or 1-hour break, and Blinders switch back on by themselves. ___ BETTER WITH TELOS | HUD (OPTIONAL) Blinders are the browser half of Telos | HUD, the free menu bar companion for your Mac. Add the HUD from the Mac App Store and Blinders follow your Telic Timer: start a session on your iPhone or Mac, and Deep Work Mode shields your apps, silences your notifications and clears the feeds in your browser, all at once. When the timer ends, everything comes back. ___ PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your own devices. The timer travels from the HUD to Blinders locally on your Mac, over 127.0.0.1. Nothing about the sites you visit is kept or sent. ___ The question shouldn't be how to spend less time on your screen. The right question is how to spend more time on your life. At Telos, our mission is to accelerate the realignment toward a humane technology future. Pursue objectives worthy of your best with Telos.
