Discard idle tabs to free memory without losing unsaved forms or interrupting media. Private and fully local. TabFreeze helps Chrome stay responsive by safely discarding idle tabs while keeping them visible and ready to restore. Before a tab is discarded, TabFreeze checks for unsaved forms and playing media. It also respects pinned tabs and sites you choose to protect. When you need a page again, click Restore—or click the tab row—to reload it and switch back immediately.
