Detect Shopify apps, themes, and store details from public storefront signals while researching stores in Chrome. ShopEyes helps you research Shopify stores from the storefront you are already viewing in Chrome. Open a public storefront, launch ShopEyes, and review signals about the store, theme, headless setup, and apps that can be confirmed from public storefront evidence. What you can do • Review public store details such as the domain, social profiles, product count, Shopify Plus signals, and store history when available. • Identify theme clues, theme-store links, and headless Shopify signals found on the public storefront. • See apps that ShopEyes can confirm from public storefront signals, grouped by ecommerce workflow. • Copy a research report, generate a PNG snapshot, or open the full web report. • Keep a local history and add useful stores or apps to Favorites for follow-up research. Important detection boundary Results are research signals, not a guaranteed inventory of a store's technology. ShopEyes does not access private Shopify admin data, private apps, checkout data, or hidden backend tools. Frequently asked questions Is ShopEyes free? Yes. You can use the Chrome extension without creating an account. What does visible app mean? It means an app that ShopEyes can confirm from evidence exposed by the public storefront. Server-side, private, or deliberately hidden apps may not be detectable. Does ShopEyes support headless Shopify stores? ShopEyes can report headless Shopify signals when they are present in the public storefront or public detection data. Why these permissions are needed • Current tab: analyzes the storefront only after you open ShopEyes. • Page access: collects public storefront signals such as platform hints, theme metadata, social links, and visible page imagery. • Storage: keeps history, favorite stores, and favorite apps locally in Chrome. • Tabs: reads the current tab URL, follows active-tab changes, and opens app, theme, or report links that you choose. • Website access: allows ShopEyes to inspect the public storefront you choose and contact the ShopEyes detection service. Privacy When you run a detection, the storefront domain is sent to the ShopEyes detection service to return public app, theme, social, and store-profile signals. Research history and Favorites are stored locally in Chrome.
