Description
Record Google Meet meetings (audio, optional video), manage them in a dashboard, and transcribe with your own OpenAI API key. Mockingbird records your Google Meet meetings and keeps everything on your own computer — no account, no servers, no subscription. RECORD Click "● Record" in the floating bar during any Meet call, or turn on auto-record to capture every meeting automatically. Audio is always recorded; you can toggle video capture of the main stage live, mid-meeting. A pulsing indicator and a red REC badge on the toolbar icon show whenever recording is active. ORGANIZE Every recording lands in a local dashboard where you can play it back, rename it, download it, or delete it. TRANSCRIBE Add your own OpenAI API key in Settings and transcribe any meeting with one click (Whisper, ~$0.006 per audio minute, billed to your own OpenAI account). Transcripts are stored locally so you never pay to re-transcribe, and can be downloaded as text. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Recordings, transcripts, settings, and your API key never leave your browser, with one exception: audio is sent to OpenAI's transcription API when — and only when — you click Transcribe. No analytics, no tracking, no Mockingbird servers.
