Customers mix prices, dates, questions, and "please send it tomorrow" into dozens of bubbles. You scroll twice, miss one promise, and the follow-up dies. If your work lives on WhatsApp Web, this happens all day. Support, sales, and freelancers need the gist and the next actions — not another full reread. WaDigest turns the open chat into a short summary and a todo list, using only the messages already on your screen. WHAT WADIGEST DOES WaDigest is a local digest panel for WhatsApp Web only. Open a chat, click the pill, and get a compact briefing you can copy or save. Summary bullets WaDigest reads visible message text in the current chat and builds short bullets: recent lines, who said more, and highlights such as money or date mentions when they appear. Todo candidates Lines that look like questions, payments, calls, sends, confirmations, or follow-ups are collected into a checklist you can tick off while you work. Copy all / copy todos One click copies the full digest or only the todo list, ready for email, a doc, or your CRM notes. Save locally Store recent digests in your browser storage so you can come back to them later on the same profile. WaCRM-ready note Copy a formatted note block you can paste into WaCRM or any notes field. WaDigest can also broadcast a same-page save signal for future suite integrations. On-page iOS-style panel A small pill on WhatsApp Web opens a dark glass sheet. Refresh when the chat scrolls and new messages load. Local only Processing runs in your browser on text already rendered by WhatsApp. No account is required for the core digest. Nothing is uploaded to a WaDigest server. WHAT WADIGEST DOES NOT DO WaDigest is not a bulk sender and not a cloud AI mailbox. - It does not upload your chats to a remote summarization API by default - It does not send messages on your behalf - It does not change read receipts or online status - It does not scrape your entire history in the background - It only uses messages currently visible / loaded in the open chat view The MVP uses on-device heuristics. It is fast and private; it is not a perfect human assistant. Install WaDigest 2. Open web.whatsapp.com and open a chat 3. Click the WaDigest pill on the page 4. Press Refresh to rebuild the digest from visible messages 5. Copy all, copy todos, save local, or copy the WaCRM note block 6. Use the extension popup to set max messages and turn the pill on or off PRIVACY PROMISE Digesting happens locally in the content script.
