Private, offline PDF tools that keep files on your device. Your files never leave your device. Hush PDF is a private PDF workspace for Chrome. Merge documents, extract page ranges, edit pages and use Pro tools without uploading PDF contents to a server. PDF processing runs inside the extension page and its bundled local worker. VERIFY IT YOURSELF Open Hush PDF once, disconnect from the internet, then merge, extract, edit, compress, export or stamp a PDF. Open the extension page's DevTools Network panel, clear the log and work with a PDF without clicking purchase or restore. Filter for http:// and https://. The expected result during PDF work is zero outbound HTTP(S) requests. Local chrome-extension://, blob: and data: entries are not uploads. Open Chrome's extension details and inspect the permission surface: Hush requests only storage, used for a small local Pro-status cache. FREE FEATURES Merge multiple PDFs in your chosen document order. Extract page ranges into a new PDF. Select, rotate, delete and reorder pages, then save locally. PRO FEATURES Compress image-heavy PDFs and see the real before size, after size and percentage saved before choosing which file to keep. Export selected pages as PNG or JPG. There is no subscription. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS PDF bytes, file names, page metadata and document operations are not sent by Hush PDF. Hush requests only the storage permission. It does not request broad host permissions, optional permissions or downloads permission. Runtime JavaScript, PDF workers, WASM, fonts and supporting assets are packaged with the extension; Hush does not load remote code. Hush has no telemetry, advertising or analytics transport. THE ONE NETWORK EXCEPTION Buying Pro or restoring a purchase is not an offline action. Only after you deliberately click Unlock Pro or Restore purchase, Hush may open or contact https://extensionpay.com for payment or license recovery. That external page may use its own services. PDF bytes are not sent to ExtensionPay. FILE LIMITS Hush refuses password-protected, invalid, zero-byte and non-PDF inputs with a clear message instead of promising to process every file. Files over roughly 100 MB receive a performance warning; files over the 200 MB safety cap are refused. Compression may keep the original when a safe reduction is not available.
