Turn the page you are on into a QR code, then scan it with your phone. QRick turns the page you are viewing into a QR code with one click. Open the extension, scan the code with another phone, tablet, or computer, and continue there. The current page URL and QR code appear immediately. You can edit the value, paste another URL or plain text, remove common tracking parameters, and choose the QR error-correction level. You can: - Copy the QR code as an image. - Save it as a PNG. - Save it as a scalable SVG. - Remove common tracking parameters such as utm_source, fbclid, and gclid. - Choose L, M, Q, or H error correction. Privacy QRick generates every QR code locally on your device. It does not transmit URLs or entered text to the developer or any third party. QRick has no analytics, accounts, advertising, telemetry, remote code, or network requests. It does not store or build a history of the pages you visit. The active URL and any text you enter exist only while the extension popup is open. Permission explanation QRick requests only the activeTab permission. This temporary permission is activated when you open the extension and allows QRick to read the URL of the current tab. It does not allow QRick to monitor your browsing in the background or access every website automatically. Remote code explanation All executable code, including the QR-generation library, is included in the installed extension package. QRick does not download or execute external JavaScript. Tracking-parameter removal When enabled, tracking-parameter removal processes the URL locally before generating the QR code. It does not block trackers on websites or modify the page you are viewing. QRick supports current versions of Chrome and other Chromium-based desktop browsers.
