Choose custom notification sounds for WhatsApp Web. Make incoming WhatsApp Web messages easier to recognize with short, distinctive notification sounds. WhatsApp Sound Box includes: - 9 sounds available immediately, without an account - 15 additional sounds unlocked with free Google sign-in during early access - a separate sound for individual contacts and groups - an optional “one alert until read” mode - instant preview when choosing a sound - interface languages selected automatically from Chrome, with manual selection available The extension follows WhatsApp Web’s own notification decision. Muted chats stay silent unless WhatsApp allows a notification, for example for a mention. Messages sent from this computer or another linked device do not trigger an incoming-message sound. Privacy comes first. Message text, media, contact names, phone numbers, chat names and per-chat sound choices are not sent to our API. Account sign-in is used only to unlock additional features and securely download the extra sound pack.
