Open a YouTube video, read captions, search a word (Telugu script or Latin like maata or emundi), and jump to that second. • English UI. Captions and search may be Telugu. • Captions stay on this computer only. Nothing is sent to a Maata server. • If YouTube has no CC file, Maata can use YouTube’s transcript only if you choose to. • Saved captions: delete any video yourself. Maata writes maata-captions-backup.json in Downloads when you read a video. After Remove, pick that file to restore. Chrome does not sync this library. • Maata only reads captions. It does not slow playback or loading. Maata is free. All features work without payment. There are no ads and no in-app purchases. Single purpose: search YouTube captions on pages you already opened, and jump to that time.
