ChromeOS kiosk companion for the SignMitra Digital Signage Player PWA. SignMitra ChromeOS Player Companion provides reliable device controls for the SignMitra Digital Signage Player on ChromeOS, ChromeOS Flex, Chromebox and managed kiosk displays. It works alongside the SignMitra Player PWA to help businesses operate unattended digital signage screens reliably. Key features: • Keeps the display awake during signage playback • Applies administrator-selected playback volume • Supports authorized remote player restart commands • Captures the visible signage screen only when an authorized administrator requests a health screenshot • Opens the SignMitra Player in a dedicated full-screen window • Connects only with signmitra.com over HTTPS • Contains no advertising and does not change browser or search settings The extension is designed for retail stores, restaurants, offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, corporate communication and other managed digital signage deployments. A SignMitra account is required. For automatic startup and locked kiosk operation, the ChromeOS or ChromeOS Flex device must be enrolled and configured through Google Admin Console. The SignMitra Player PWA should be deployed as the auto-launch kiosk application, with this extension added as its companion. The extension does not collect browsing history, passwords, payment information, personal communications or content from unrelated tabs. A screenshot is captured only for an administrator-authorized signage health check.
